a race tuned 3.6L boxter 6 on 20 lbs of boost which gets worse gase mileage than that 7 L monster meaning it has injectors the size of sewer pipes...a cammed z06 would be a better race

A little pointless to just drive them straight.. As usual, the journalist doesn't know the z06 has independent double wishbone suspension all around. I think he also misread the z06 specs, 0..60 you can do in 1st gear, if you want 0 .. 62.5, you need to shift to 2nd, and the gearbox isn't that quick so you're not going to be relatively slow to 62.5

Boost does help but yeah its a quick little bugger. must be why Corvette Racing is going to GT2 next mid season of the ALMS. keeping the Z06 pretty much stock due to the factory Z06 having the same 505 as shown.

ur wrong. the zo6's might have beef to it but the suspension cant compare to the porsches. unless ur talking about a drag, close race but wen ur making a decision to buy one chevy=chevy, porsche=porche, take ur pick. a bit difference in engineering. 530 hp from a six cyl...bad?

that's life. In american car magazines, the Z06 won most tests, and in german car magazines, the GT2 won most tests.By the way, The Porsche is german and the guy in the video is english, so it should be neutral, because usually the english like german cars just as little as american cars.

i believe the gt3 hit about 191 tops and 0-60 around 4.1 seconds. check porsches website they have the specs i forgot them. i do think also the gt3's engine also revs higher. gt3 is made more for racing rather than everday use. hopefully ill be rich wen im older and i can buy both. i think theyre both rear-wheel drive as opposed to the 07 911 turbo. which plays in effect somewhat
