exactly. :) there is more to the engine than people give credit. I still have yet to find a 1.3 with 230+hp NA though. That will run at that.

If you port a 1.3 non turbo rx7 and set it up with the right exhaust you can pump out more than 250 horses.

You still keep missing the point. When I tell you about hp, you have still yet to show me a 1.3 with 230 hp NA. Doesnt exist. Would be crazy but someone did it with pistons but, if you put enough rotors together to make an engine with the same CI roughly as the LS1, the rotor would kill it in hp/tq. Piston engines started out with one, then 2, and so on. Like I said, over 100 years of R&D and refining when money times were better and people invented more.

If you dont forge the inside of a piston engine, it cannot handle much more hp. Look at the neon and the eclipse. both 2.0 but if you turbo the neon, can only run about 10lbs safely. anything over, have to beef up the internals as they did in the gst and gsx that was made by mitsubishi where as the rs and gs and neon engines were made by chrysler. Keep on typing, proving your stupidity more and more.

There is no difference between a 91 rotary internals and a 95 tt internals. Same seals, same eccentric shaft. rotors are same material. there were different size seals made and some of different material for racing only. the onle difference between a 95 and a 91 is the outside for cooling purposes. You still dont know you butt from a hole in the ground.

they are still in race cars that still competed until it was banned. Sorry it got banned cause of, and I quote "unfair power and weight advantage" 20bs were put in production in Japan in the 90s in a luxury car that had a turbo and produced 280hp and 295lbs tq. It was a very mild tune, obviously, and was very sucessful but limited due to cost. Even the 3000gt, stealth, supra, and nsx were scrapped eventually cause of the same problem before you get on your high horse about that.

Ahhh but I can compare as this is what we were talking about all along, and I can believe that you cannot figure out V8 engine dissasembly as you are an idiot, so go figure. YOu are wrong also about the rotary as it needs quite a bit to handle any more than stock h.p. levels. Liar.
aji8 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
No you show me! I like how you say capable..and look where it is. A museum where it belongs. Not in a car.
cliffkemp (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
your LS1 is crap for hp/L, It requires a valvetrain, timing belt/chain, and is not easy to assemble or disassemble. In order to run good hp numbers, it needs all forged internals as the rotary can handle anything as is. It is more durable. The rotary is better out of the box. Listen retard, engines didnt start off as v8, you are not comparing apples to apples at all. v8 half a 4. last i checked a 350 v8 is 175 Cid per half. that is a 2.8 for about half. You dont get it. Retard.

It is in the museum in Japan. the very car that won lemans. In the museum, the specs on the car say, it was tuned to only 700-720 hp to make sure it was going to be reliable. I was capable of 930. Look it up.
